Re: bumping, legal?
Unless the post has a question in it that hasn't been answered in 4-5 days, the bump will be removed. If the bumping continues, we will consider other measures. Bumping is something that is unacceptable on almost any forum, so I don't see why Mindboards should be any different. - Xander Okay, thank...

bumping, legal?
I was just wondering, for the sake of my future reference, what's the mods/admins position on bumping (posting pointless things to get you're topic sent back to the top)? I know some forums look down on it, but it doesn't look like it's a big rule here.

Re: where are all nxtasy old posts?
I'm curious what might have been the reasons for the old owner of the nxtasy forum that he didn't reply to any requests. I guess it's not just because he's dead... that occurred to me too, but I desperately hope it ain't what happened. It's more likely, I think, that he just lost interest, or the e...

Re: where are all nxtasy old posts?
NXTasy sort-of... crashed. It was down for about a week, and, according to those who tried, all attempts to reach the original owner went unanswered. After that week, several adult NXTasy users/mods started MindBoards. Nearly all information on NXTasy has been lost, so we're starting from scratch.

Sorry if this is shouting Xander but you have to admit it is funny Hmm, I just noticed something when you said this. Not even a month ago the above comment would've been directed at the now-inactive Brian Davis. I take it Xander's the new main ban-hammer? Welcome to you're new position of power, oh...

Re: My nxt cant turn well help!
there are many options open to you. you could remove the rubber for the unpowered wheels (making them more slippery, therefore better for turning), or purchase a rotacaster (google it.), build a ball caster, or simply return to you're normal, everyday caster (just curious, why can't you're project u...

Re: Getting the Lego NXT to run larger brushed DC motors???
There are two ways (that I'm aware of). the simplest is to use a relay ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relay ), but these can only control the motors in one direction, at the same speed (using a simple circuit and two relays, it is possible to control direction). If you need speed control, you could ...
