Disable a CONNECTED SENSOR EV3!

Is there any way to disable a connected color sensor when I am not using it.

I will have to switch it back on later when I needed it.

Hello,

I want to display the power consumption and battery level/status in my program.

For example, went my robot is travelling, the display screen shows how much battery is left and how much has being used during the length.

Is there anyway of doing that?
