I managed to get 4x NXT Ultrasonic Sensors up and running very successfully 12 months ago, just using the 4x NXT Sensor Ports and NXC: www.rjmcnamara.com

It's nice and all that, but this doesn't solve Helmut's problem, as your solution involves 4 "real" NXT ports, but he asked for 4 sensors connected to 1 real NXT port via a HT SensorMux.sparramc wrote:I managed to get 4x NXT Ultrasonic Sensors up and running very successfully 12 months ago, just using the 4x NXT Sensor Ports and NXC: www.rjmcnamara.com

Dear doc-helmut
I found this little device which can give you somme help, the PCA9547 chip, an 8-channel I2C-bus multiplexer with reset, in which you can choose the i2c channel.http://www.nxp.com/documents/data_sheet/PCA9547.pdf
Hope this help
Ben

thank you very much, but I'm never building any hardware by my own. I'll never do anything by soldering and I'll never program any i2c device by my own (again) - it's far too frustrating.
I'm only using plug-and-play hardware.

So you're condemned to remain frustrated...
