I would like to make a duty cycle measurement -or something similar for my apartment heating.
I want to figure it out wich water temperature would cost the less.
I'm using the Color Sensor in Light sensing mode.
I have a green LED - it has 2 states:
- "OFF" state: blinking - 1sec ON /1 sec OFF
- "ON" state: constantly ON - the heating goes here on.
I need the duty cycle, and the on time per hour.
The logging of the "ON state" is not a big thing, but the other one makes me a head-acke.
I'm using Labview whit NXT module, so actually im just waiting some ideas.
