Loaded into my pc (Win 7) and compiled it to a file.

No broken blocks or links & no error messages, so the 'pack' appears to be complete.

Does your second laptop have all the current LEGO drivers?

Does your second laptop have all the current LEGO drivers?
I haven't installed any beyond what is installed via the CD.
Is that the complete path? It looks like it may have been cut off.
The bit I posted was copied and pasted from my laptop
"%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI Control Panel;C:\Pro"
I went to my Win7 machine and fired up my Virtual XP and looked at its path setting that looked very similar. I was hoping I would find a C:\Program Files\Mindstorms entry the the laptop was missing.

I would consider myself an advance programmer because I have been a controls technician for 13yrs. I have had several years of electronics in High School, a 6 month program in the army for wired systems repair, and then a 2 year program in Instrumentation and Process Control. I primarily program in Ladder Logic with Rockwell Automation SLC500, PLC5 and Contrologics 5000. Also the Lots of motion control systems on the CLX5000 platform and older GML stuff. GML looks allot like NXT-G. Personally I'm looking at the NXC software for me because I'm comfortable with Structured text, VBA, and have dabbled with java for Android.

Hacking around the PC environments at times is exciting for me. Thank you everyone for your patients and experiences here with this problem. The only thing the kept me going this time around is that I believe the kids I have been working with after school will understand the Graphical language faster.

I think I found a solution not a fix. I canned XP and installed Win7. Going to need to cut a chunk of hard drive off and install XP to it so my older AutoCADD software can run on it. Don't think I'm going to upgrade to Win7pro to get XPmode on the laptop but would like to bring may cadd with me at times. When I get the dule boot fully up I can try new ideas but for now i think i will put this to rest.
Thank you for everyones help
