MinuteBot Baseplate

Post by circuitmage »

FYI, I ordered one of those plates (after their kickstarter ended) , it took about 2-3 weeks to get to the states and looks really nice. I haven't used it yet, but I am impressed with the quality. Very smooth and sturdy.

Mine has a slight bulge in the middle, probably less than 3degrees, but flattens out easily, no worry there. I really like the plate though and can't wait to use it. I am imagining all sorts of uses for it now....could use it to hang builds on the wall, fix some mounting issues I've had with old builds, multi-level platforms...hmmm....

Mine is the same way, and some of the holes are a little tight for axles to spin nicely but i think they could be cleaned up with a quick drillbit spin-through. I to have not done much with mine. there is a little video out there of the first contraption I made on it. But it has sat since then, I have been in the garage spinning wrenches this spring. When it gets too hot this summer i will stay inside and build LEGO...
