GUI in Java but program in other language MASSIVE HELP PLS!!

hi all,

im new to program NXT, i start with writing my new program in Robot C for my NXT
while after i download the program to the robot
i would like to use the GUI i created from JAVA SWING using netbeans to control the start and stop of the program
is that possible to do so ?

I think what youre looking for is the Fantom API, but I'm not sure of it's availability in Java.

EDIT: I think it is easier if you are running LeJOS on the NXT, which is free. It's a Java VM.
