poor search function
Am I the only one having trouble with this sites search function?
Why can I search for "rate", but not "gyro" for example.

Re: poor search function
I agree, the search is not very functional. I use it sometimes, but it really isn't very good. The main thing I don't like, is when it says there are too many results, so it won't even show them...

I have added a Mindboards specific Google search on the main web page which you can also specifically access here: http://mindboards.net/search.html

Re: poor search function
Unfortunately, Google hasn't crawled many of our pages, so it won't be too useful at the moment. (Or at least, it hasn't pushed them out to the public yet.)

The Google AdSense, or the Search Engine Crawler? If it's the "SEC", then it's either going to the same places over and over, or they haven't made them public.mightor wrote:I see that robot crawl our forums at least a few times a day.
This Mindboards Forums search shows we've only got 67 hits at the moment.
EDIT: The latest result seems to be from April 7, 2011.
