Hello forum,
I've got NeXT Tool, nxtcc and MINDSTORMS NXT (NXT-G) on my laptop. I can't seem to open all of them successfully. When ever I try to bond my mac (running 10.6.6) with my NXT, all fails, for example; trying to download a NXT-G program, the software will crash. Or just opening the NeXT Tool or nxtcc will lead to a crash. And I really need to get John Hansen's enhanced firmware up and running on my NXT! Could anybody try and advice me? I've been trying (I have installed the fantom drive, should I try again? - whats going on with the apps (or my laptop)?)
Thanks in advance. And remember your help is welcome (big time)!

Re: running utilities (firmware)
Has anybody had luck running the applications mentioned above with a mac running 10.6.6?

Re: running utilities (firmware)
Try something with Linux or Windows on it if you have one
It probably won't be a permanent solution, but if you need to get the EFW running on it asap, try it.

Re: running utilities (firmware)
I don't know much about using your NXT with a mac, however since all applications crashes when you are trying to connect to the NXT I suspect that there is something wrong with the driver.

Thanks guys - All sorted and fixed. I've uninstalled Labview, nxtcc, NeXT Tool and NXT-G. Afterwards installed NeXT Tool and NXT-G. Both working fine.
Re: running utilities (firmware)
And the EFW is working on both of my bricks.
