NXT Bluetooth - line is busy

Hi new to the forum

me and my dad are trying to figure out how to connect a android mobile phone up to the NXT.

we have tried doing the wizard (step by step) both ways from the phone to the NXT and from the NXT to the phone.

from the phone it seems to pair with it ok but the app will still not detect robot (assuming the NXT hasnt put it under the connection number)

when we try to assigned it a connection number on the NXT it comes up with "line is busy"

we have tried 2 different phones and 2 different NXTS,.. the phones will pair together fine.

wasn't using an app was just bluetooth to bluetoot,.

think i figured out that you acxtually need to use an app to get it working

correct me if im wrong

I would give the MINDdroid app a try. It's the "official" Android>NXT app so I imagine that it should work . Also, it might be helpful to know which phone and Android OS you are using.
