You should definitely update to the latest standard NXT firmware (1.31) or the latest enhanced NBC/NXC firmware (if that's how you roll) (also 1.31). If you can't find standard 1.31 (having some trouble tracking down a working link, myself) then grab the 1.29 firmware from the mindstorms.lego.com support page.

milluzaj wrote:Thanks for the images. If you dont mine, I would love to use some of them in future blocks (and revision 2 of this one). I have a block with a protocol coming soon (similar to Xander's protocol for the xbee in robot C).
If you were talking about my images, then I would be honored to have my Icon used in a revision of your block.
So I have been trying to post this for a while, but for some reason it wouldnt let me.
@The people who made awesome images - Thank you! Version 2 (coming some time next week) and the block with the protocol (also some time next week) will use your (way better than my paint skills) images. Again thanks!
@Person who found a bug -I cant replicate the issue with the block on 1.05 or 1.31. Try upgrading and let me know!
@Andy (not me but the other one) - I have a protocol already in mind. It is quite simple and will interface with Xander's RobotC protocol. PM me for more details.
Thanks y'all for the images and testing.

The 2.1 update was for the education version of NXT-G and was very quickly pulled from the LEGO website when the LEGO sales droids realised that there was money to be made from selling what was essentially a bug fix for a prematurely released product.

For some reason the connect times out when I go to post. I meant to post this like 2 days ago:
@Person who found a bug - I was able to get it to replicate on 1.31. I think it is a bus timing issue. I will have a fix for this in the next release (hopefully coming Wednesday!) Thanks for finding it!
"The 2.1 update was for the education version of NXT-G and was very quickly pulled from the LEGO website ..." - not quickly enough, I was able to download it from the website I mentioned.
