I ran it, and it told me that it deleted it as it should have, but BCC still uses the old version of help (Win32).

Matt, I think the only remaining possibility is that you are not running 3.3.8.8. Can you post a screenshot of the About box and the Options tab of the Preferences dialog?

There may be a problem with the way my code loads the HTML Help library on Windows 7 64 bit. I will investigate.
