And what part of don't be a cnut escaped you?

The release notes would still be nice.

Only once been in John's shoes with software but I can say don't write the release notes until you have finished the product.

Right up to the last minute the code is changing.

Then you wonder why you bothered because no-one reads them anyway.

I do (...sometimes ...well, very little, but I do - once every 1000 release notes I come across).

I installed the new Bricxcc update on my windows 7 starter computer.
Whenever I try to compile an NXC program it reads "Compile/Download Failed. Compile failed.".
Even if I just compile this code then it still has the error!

Code: Select all

task main()
{

}
Thanks, and have a nice day,
nxtboy III

I think it is an issue with "File "NXCDefs.h" ; line 19272". It probably just needs a TINY bit of tweaking. I'll try a workaround for now, and if it works, I'll point you to it.

I guess I'll change the FW. However, I have it set to automatic FW version, so this shouldn't happen.

Okay, you're right. It was the FW. However, I had the setting set to automatic, so it shouldn't have had the errors.
