Mac iMac intel snow leopard 10.6.8 HELP

have been all over - cannot get a fix for the error 1003. used the patch on the lego site - NXT 2.0f3 Patch
any other ideas? incredibly frustrated at the lack of Lego support - if you're going to put out a mac product, get it right.

I ran across a Dan Sanderson at

and followed his suggestions with the same result.
any and all help would be appreciated.

What is Error 1003? Is there any text message?

I don't normally use NXT-G, but I did get it to install and run on Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
This is for the Edu version (2.0).

The problem may be due to Flash Player. Newer versions of Flash Player (which fixes all the vulnerabilities) is not supported by the NXT-G 2.0 software.
The rest of the software should run but the build instructions won't.

Edit: Try to reinstall the Fantom driver as well. I don't know if the 2.0f3 patch overrides the Fantom driver with its own version.
The latest version is 1.1.3 available from the LEGO Mindstorms NXT website.
