Start Block in EV3-G and Multi-tasking

(Not sure if EV3-G is correct term for the language.) I am trying to modify some the EV3-G programs that
come with the EV3 set. To have 2 (or more) tasks in a program, it looks like there are 2 methods. I can
have 2 Start Blocks or come out of 1 Start Block with 2 threads. Are these two methods equivalent? Does
one method execute faster than the other? I suspect there is something I don't fully understand. (For NXT
robots, I always used NXC, so I have no NXT-G skills.) Thanks for any ideas or help.
