Can I use Dexter TIR with EV3 ?

Hello everybody,
We are students in France and we have a project to realise for an exam.
We decided to use the new NXT brick LEGO which works with EV3 to create a bot and we need to use the Dexter TIR (Thermal Infrared Sensor)
to mesure the temperature in a specific area. So we installed the last firmware (Dexter.ev3b) to make it compatible with EV3.
But after that done, the update disabled all data we could enter in the different sensors with the software EV3.
How can we prevent that bug ? Could you help us ?

we tried to reinstall the software and re-update it, but it doesn't work too.

If someone knows, thank you in advance! ;)

According to the website -

"Dexter Industries sensors that we are working to support. These sensors do not have EV3 support and may require some firmware changes.

dTIR (Thermal Infrared Sensor)
NXTChuck"

GITHUB seems to have a TIR test program though, not sure if that is the same sensor -

Yes, i saw it but it also mention that the firmware should be available on December 2013, so a month ago.
So i though a solution could already exist. :(
Thank you anyway. ;)
