Microduino has launched mCookie on Kickstarter, bringing the power of Arduino to LEGO®. mCookie modules are quarter-sized hardware components inspired by the popular Arduino board that connect magnetically and can be built into predesigned projects or used to innovate new ones. With Arduino and LEGO compatibility, mCookie extends the functionality of LEGO Mindstorms to include Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, GPS, OLED displays, and more; and with open-source Scratch programming, LEGO builders can drag and drop pre-written code to bring their projects to life.
