Multiple Bluetooth Fantom connections

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to connect more than one NXT as slaves to a bluetooth device on a laptop running Fantom drivers. I'm not very confident with all these details. I have a question:

- the bluetooth connection uses a Seral Port service, acquiring a COM port. Is it needed more than one COM port to establish several connections with several NXT slaves, or is it the same COM port used and shared for all NXT connections?

You need one serial COM port per Bluetooth connection on Windows, or one "rfcomm" device per connection on Linux. I've used up to 5 or 6 concurrent BT connections on Linux, and our BT USB adapter driver software for Windows creates 2 virtual COM ports for 2 connections at a time, no problem.

Aha, good!

I was having a problem, and I thought it was a limitation in the number of COM ports created by my Bluetooth device, but it turned out to be another problem. :-) No problem with the COM ports.

Thanks linusa!

Have a nice day!
