How do you make a NXT-G block?

I was wondering,how do you make a nxt-g block :?:
Like could I use TextEdit or do I have to download LabVeiw or something?

You need Labview 7.1

NI used to offer the 7.1 student addition for people wanting to make blocks. Not sure if they still do.

Back when I downloaded LabView 7.1, they still did. That was about a year ago though. I do remember that (back then) you couldn't find 7.1 on the LabView website, but I did find it with Google.

I don't think you can import a 8.6 block into NXT-G. NXT-G requires the older version.
