Mindboards blog

Hey everybody I subscribed to the Mindboard blog a few months ago, and nothing has really come up on it yet. Does anybody have anything planned for it?

Otherwise, it'd be really cool if you could kind of turn it into an rss feed, and include new posts from the main blogs like Bot Bench, the NXT Step, tinkernology, etc, etc. That way, people who are new to mindstorms/ boards have one central place to find all the info and updates easily.

What do you think? If anybody's interested, I'd be happy to help :)

Indeed the blog hasn't taken off much yet, nor have the other parts of this site; such as the Frequently Asked Questions, Links, and the About this site links. I guess that Xander, John, Steve, and most especially Brian are a bit occupied with other stuff, so I'm not trying to chastize them for the lack of these pages, but I do think it might ba about time for them to have been created. After all, this site has been open for about 10 months now.

Or maybe - most likely - they forgot about it. :)

@dimasterooo's (3 os!!!) idea is OK - I bet Xander doesn't want to write for two blogs on similar topics at the same time. :)

(lol :P) @Muntoo: yeah hence the RSS feed ;) ; it'd automatically update with the newest posts from the 20ish mindstorms blogs around, so everybody would see the most recent stuff from those blogs right on the front page. If that's possible (is it?)

I guess that is more likely the case. I suspect Xander will find this topic and post on it soon and explain the story behind those abandoned pages. He usually gets around to posting on topics like these in around 3 to 36 hours...

It's a lack of time, really. We're fairly busy with other stuff. I am currently working on my new site which is taking up a fair bit of my time :)

What about just letting it be a site which organizes useful blogs, forums and information about Mindstorms? There are already some FAQs here on the forums, why not just link to those instead of redoing it?
A "getting started" section with links to good tutorials would also be rather useful for newcomers.
Keeping it properly organized so both newcomers and advanced users can easily find the content they want is the challenge though.
