Re: Robot Building Tips

Sorry about being late to this thread but here's my advice, keep breaking down your robot and build it back up from existing build plans out there. In my opinion it is just like programming, you learn a whole lot from building, breaking down and rebuilding. I taught myself C, perl, python and other ...

Re: Parring a Bluetooth device without a passkey

A Wiimote. I'd rather not use Glovepie. I want to see if I can use NXC. I've tried using 000000 and 000 and I keep getting "Line busy" or it just pops out to the list of BT devices.

Thanks

I was looking to do blob detection and didn't want to spend the $147! I was exploring alternatives. Thanks, looks like I don't have much of a choice.

Re: Camera

I was actually referring to the solderless breadboard you can buy from HiTechnic to maybe hook up a camera for blob detect. I was wondering if someone had custom built one.

Camera

Hi,
Has anyone successfully set up a camera to use for image detection? I was looking at this HiTechnic product and maybe cannibalizing a web camera to hook it up.

Thanks,
Thom

Re: Messages between tasks

Thanks for the quick replies! I did know about mutex, I used it in a simple line following program.

Thanks again
