APP: Android and Mindstorms (Bluetooth)

Hello forum,
I would really like to create a simple app where I could click a button on the android and a package is send to the NXT (String, byte, int or direct command?). I would like the receiver program to be in NXC? I haven't found any available library for this. Could you guys get me on track, maybe share some source code that has been written and worked?

Ok, awesome, I got a connection between my android and nxt using borismus' source code https://github.com/borismus/android-nxt, *yay* : where I can send direct motor commands and strings. 2x*yay*
Yet, still interested in your source code though.

I found that the App Inventor for Android is a good development platform to create those simple Android apps. By using the App Inventor, I made an app, named NXT Pad that you may like to try it. You can find and download it on the Android market, and please rate and review the app there.
