NXT firmware Update Error 142210

I am a newbie to implementing the LEGO MINDSTORMS NTX Programming into my students curriculum.

In practicing today I found this error after I wanted to download the program into the robot (with a USB).

Error:

NXT firmware update required to use new features.

Possible Solutions:
Update NXT firmware to the latest version.

Error code: -142210


I am practicing with one of the labtops my studnets will use for the lessons. It's with 27 labtops!

What should I do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
