Avatar/Signature Size Limitations

I lowered the maximum image height in signatures based on the admins wanting to keep the sig to content ratio high on the content side with 4 text lines being the height limit. I like the small sig glyph and avatar.

We were all in agreement about the size of signatures. We are strongly opposed to having posts that contain more signature than content.

What was the reason for disabling links in the signature?

Signature spammers were the reason.

I'd vote for disallowing animation... I always found the animated avatars and signatures on nxtasy very very annoying...

There's no configuration option for it, but we'll just tell people they can't use them. I agree, they're extremely annoying.

I'm very pleased with the admins' stance on signatures.

I just discovered that this board actually offers the possibility of not showing signatures at all: Go to User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit display options.
