NXC: set / change Brick name?
NXC: set / change Brick name?
how can I change the Brick name?
To read it, string s=BrickDataName() works.
To change it, I expected sth like "SetBrickDataName" but couldn't find anything...

Re: NXC: set / change Brick name?
I usually change it from inside whatever programming environment I am in. You can do it from inside BrixCC, ROBOTC and NXT-G and probably one of the tools that comes with Lejos, too.

Re: NXC: set / change Brick name?
Perhaps there is an easier way to do this, but I'm not aware of it

Re: NXC: set / change Brick name?
I think you can change it the data panel section of the communication/ memory block in NXT-G as well.
A sophistical rhetorician, inebriated with the exuberance of his own verbosity, and gifted with an egotistical imagination that can at all times command an interminable and inconsistent series of arguments to malign an opponent and to glorify himself.
Re: NXC: set / change Brick name?
That is correct but the question was for BrixCC.

I only had to do it once because one of my nxts was suddenly "kaputt" and has been exchanged the Lego technical support.
Now already everything again is "in the green sector" :D
Re: NXC: set / change Brick name?
Some of the "BricxCC->Tools->???" work too. I think the best one for the job was "Diagnostics", IIRC.
