EV3 knowledge base?

Post by mrblp »

Hello all,

I want to ask if anyone is going to start something like an EV3 knowledge base? Something like a wiki...

Why do I ask?

Xander posted the link to the firmware sourcecode, Andy gave us instructions about installing leJOS and indirectly a lot of details of the firmware binaries, John works on the EV3 versions of bricxcc and nxc (or ev3c?), Ralph is working on lua...

And me? I have determined how the firmware files are organized and I think I know how to flash them into the brick using a sd-card without using the LEGO software. I also have some ideas of how to add other wifi modules to support more wifi sticks (like leJOS does). I do not really know where to write these things down and thought a wiki would be great...

Would this be OK to use? https://sourceforge.net/p/mindboards/ev3wiki/Home/

I just created it, should be fairly easy to use. The hosted app version on Sourceforge is kind of lame but functional.

I put some information into it as comments. Not the best structure but at least I put the info in. I wrote articles in here and linked them there. Hopefully thats fine.
