EV3: which IMU

Hi all,

Got my son an EV3, but have the STRONG desire to build my own stick balancer.
(darn this is addictive...)

Now we will be needing an IMU sensor. Which one is the best to get ?
Should I get the Dexter one or the mindsensors one ? Or just the LEGO gyro ?
