ev3dev Won't Boot, Linux, MicroSD Card in Mindstorms EV3

I have a new Lego Mindstorms brick and I want to run ev3dev on it, mainly because all my computers are Linux.

I followed the instructions at http://www.ev3dev.org/docs/getting-started/

But ev3dev won't boot.

I used Etcher https://www.etcher.io/, like the instructions say, and it said that I successfully flashed the image to the MicroSD card. The card is 2GB, not oversized.

So far I've downloaded and burned the correct ev3dev image to the MicroSD card. I got it running on the brick. I've successfully SSH'ed into the brick. Next I'll try to give the brick access to the internet via the WiFi dongle I put in. And then I'll try some programming in Python.
