NeXTShoot; A Tank shooting game for the NXT!
NeXTShoot; A Tank shooting game for the NXT!
This is NeXTShoot, a Scorched Earth clone for the NXT! For those of you who don't know what Scorched Earth is, it is basically a 2d tank game where you try take out the opponent's health.
The goal is to take out the other player's health.
The winner gets $200, the loser gets $75.
NOTE: This is a 2 player game, not a one player game.
Instructions:
The first screen will show what you can buy. If there is a zero instead of something to buy, that is because there is no weapon to buy on that row.
Choose what to buy with the arrow keys. Press the orange square to buy it.Press the bottom gray button to switch the player that is buying weapons. On the top right of that screen shows how much money you have.
Currently, it does not show how much each item cost(I will probably add that), So here is a list of the cost of the items(These are dumb names for weapons):
DirtBomb: $25
Bullet: $0
LandKiller: $37
Splitter: $40
MountainBomb: $50
LandFlatten: $50
Once you have chosen what each player wants, it will show the game.
The arrow keys are to move. You can only move if you have more than 1 quart of fuel.
When the center button is pressed, you choose what weapon to use. Next to the weapon name shows how many of that weapon you have. If you choose to use a weapon that you don't have, it will shoot a normal bullet.
Once you have pressed the center button to choose the weapon, choose the angle with a motor in output port C.
Use the arrow keys to select the power.
When you press the center button, it shoots the bullet and switches players.
NOTE: The pictures to understand the game are inside the zip, and so is the nxc file and a video.

Oh. You could draw a picture the same size in paint or some other drawing program and post it.

Why don't you post it on YouTube? Create a Gmail("Google Mail") account, then sign into YouTube using your Gmail (I know this from experience).nxtboyiii wrote: I will post a video soon.
