And you only have a limit of about ~30MB/file, and a maximum of 5 * 2^30 one-byte files.

but I have already my own upload webspace.
But that's too complicated to handle, on the other hand forum phpbb3 upload is simple, quick, straight, and easy - and it's made for that just because of that :)
