A nice way to tune a PID controller

Post by aswin0 »

Hi,

I automated the tuning of a PID controller. My technique is based on trial and error and on survival of the fittest. If you are interested you can read all about it on my blog.

Aswin,

Perhaps a line following robot that implements this would be a very nice way to show off this auto-tuning system. I'd certainly love to see something like that. Basically, you enter the speed you want the robot to around the track and it will figure out the rest :)
